In 1975, on the banks of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, a small family kitchen opened its doors with one simple promise: serve honest food made from the finest local ingredients. That kitchen became Davanni's — a name that quickly became synonymous with quality, warmth, and community in the Twin Cities.

What started as a modest pizza and hoagie spot grew steadily through word of mouth. Neighbors told neighbors. Families made Davanni's their Friday night tradition. Students discovered us between classes at the University of Minnesota just down the street. Each decade brought new recipes and new faces, but never at the cost of the original promise.
Today, Davanni's continues to serve the davanis community from our Riverside Ave home — the same address, the same commitment, and the same flavors that have delighted Minnesotans for generations.
